Frequently Asked Questions

How do I get to Glisten?

Our address is 64 Norcross Rd, Berlin, NJ 08009. You can link to a map for directions HERE. If you see signs for Picasso Lake Paintball and the Glisten logo at the top of the arch, you’re in the right spot.

How do I find the north end of the lake?

After passing through the gate, follow the signs around the lake.

Where do I park?

There is designated parking near the north end of the lake.

Can I park in the lot at the south end of the lake?

You can park there, but you will need to walk or ride your bike to the north end before you swim.bike.run.yoga.

Can I bring my dog?

No, we do not allow pets on the property.

Do you have any water or food for purchase?

No. Please bring all of the water and fuel you need for your workout. Keep in mind, you will need plenty of water when it’s hot out.

Can I bring my child?

Minors aged 13-17 are welcome to come Glisten with a parent or guardian. You must sign a waiver for them. You may use one multi Glisten pass for those living in the same household. A waiver must signed for everyone. We offer events where children are welcome (one adult to three kid ratio is suggested). See: Glisten Family and Orienteering HERE

How do I register, book a session or change a session?

To register, you need to go to GET FIT, purchase a Glisten pass, open your confirmation email (subject:ACTION REQUIRED) and walk through all of the steps by clicking each of the colored buttons in the email. You will see: WAIVER, GLISTEN PASS, BOOK IT, DIRECTIONS. You can manage your session through your account at the top right hand corner. All changes need to be made 1 hour and 30 minutes prior to your session.

What about the Glisten Waiver?

You may have already gotten your link to the waiver and completed the signature and gotten your QR code.  If you have not or if you need to sign for a minor, you can find the waiver HERE.

How do I sign in?

You will check in at the North End of the lake. Follow signs around the lake to find parking and sign in. Don’t forget to have your Glisten pass pulled up on your phone; taking a screenshot in advance is a great idea. Glisten passes will not expire for 5 years.

Why are there buoys in the middle of the lake?

The South Jersey Waterski Club practices on the lake throughout the week. The buoys are set up for a slalom waterski course. Ski boats will not be on the lake on Tuesdays or Thursdays.

Are there any hazards I should be aware of?

Glisten is located in the middle of a wooded area, which means there are a lot of bugs, particularly mosquitoes. We do our best to keep them at bay, but please be prepared with any bug repellant you may need. Also, please wear flip flops to the water’s edge or dock as there are sometimes sharp objects around the property.

What should I wear for paddle board yoga?

Wear clothing that is appropriate for practicing yoga and dries quickly.

What should I wear to swim?

A regular swimsuit is fine during the summer months; however, you may want a wetsuit in the cooler months. You will also want to bring goggles and a swim cap (if you wear one). We require you to swim with a floatation device and are happy to provide you with a swim buoy at no additional cost. The swim buoy increases visibility and safety as it trails behind you without impeding your swim.  Video of the swim buoy can be found HERE.

What if I want to bike?

Wonderful! We invite you to bring your mountain bike and take on the trails before or after your time on the water. Follow the signs for an unguided ride through three and a half miles of beautiful winding trails with a few challenging hills and some sand. If you only plan to Glisten on the bike trail, please drive through the main gate and follow the signs around the lake to sign in. Regardless of when you bike, you must start and finish at the North End of the lake.  A helmet is required and it is wise to wear protective eye wear because you may encounter bugs, sticks or other hazards along the trail. If you are not already booked with a Glisten pass, one Glisten pass is required per car, however, everyone biking must sign the waiver. Time lapse of the course can be found HERE.

What if I want to run?

Great! Just lace up your favorite trail shoes before or after your time on the water for a well marked, unguided run. Take in the engaging views of the lake on this loop that is just under a mile. You may want to consider protective eyewear or a hat or visor. If you only plan to Glisten on the trails, please drive in the main gate and follow the signs around the lake to sign in. Regardless of when you run, you must start and finish at the North End of the lake. If you are not already booked with a Glisten pass, one Glisten pass is required per car, however, everyone running must sign the waiver. Time lapse of the lake trail can be found HERE.

What happens if it rains?

If there is a need to cancel or delay a session due to inclement weather, we will notify anyone who reserved a spot via email two hours prior to start time and we will post on social media. Your session will not count against your Glisten pass if your session was cancelled by Glisten.
