About the Event
Orienteering: n. A sport in which participants find their way to various waypoints in the woods with only the aid of a map and compass.
We will cover:
How to use a compass
Reading a map
Using a compass (included) to find waypoints
This will be a hands-on clinic so you will have the opportunity to practice what you have learned either by walking or biking to various waypoints.
What to bring- Comfortable shoes that CAN get muddy, layered clothing, water bottle and bug spray
